Saaswedo was involved in the deployment of 862 Samsung tablets at Worldskills 2024, a trades competition held in Lyon from September 10 to 15, 2024. To carry out this project, Saaswedo collaborated with PMY Group, responsible for IT at the event. Together, we implemented a solution based on Knox Manage to manage and secure the equipment.
Discussions began in July 2024, with a needs analysis and recommendations on the use of Knox tools. Saaswedo then proposed a solution integrating Knox Manage, as well as technical support during the event. The service began on August 1, followed by on-site and remote testing in mid-August. At the end of the month, the Saaswedo team provided assistance with the mastering of the tablets, followed in early September by the handover of the devices to the managers. Support continued throughout the event and until the tablets were reset in mid-September, ensuring that any queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
As far as our support service is concerned, we are pleased to report a high reactivity rate on support tickets opened the day before and during the event.
During the event, 10 configuration profiles were created to cater for different uses and guarantee device security. The Saaswedo team also collaborated with the Worldskills cybersecurity team to ensure that all necessary flows were correctly configured.
The event ended on a positive note, with encouraging feedback from PMY Group on the service provided by Saaswedo, which proved responsive and available throughout the project.
